Duck Wax / Sweetheart / Babe

A live gig at Jaguar Shoes featuring country-funk six-piece Duck Wax with support from London rock band Babe.

Duck Wax, a six-piece who describe themselves as the originators of country-funk, headline with a new set following the release of their second EP. Their gigs are known for being energetic, danceable and witty, with recurring gimmicks such as raffles, 3D glasses and costumes. They are joined by Babe, a London band playing nervous rock and roll with jittery guitar, surreal groove and a sprechgesang singer. The event is presented by Short Waves and is 18+.
