Zimbabwean Singing Workshop and Performance with Bruce Ncube

A day-long Zimbabwean singing workshop led by Bruce Ncube, followed by an evening performance by the workshop choir with guest slots.

Bruce Ncube leads an immersive day of traditional Zimbabwean singing at Birch Community Centre, teaching melodies and harmonies open to musicians and beginners alike. In the evening, workshop participants are invited to join the choir for the first part of a performance, which also features slots by Spokojna on kora and vocals and Bruce singing with Mr Will on guitar. Funds raised go to Helemu Primary School in Bulawayo, Zimbabwe, and the Birch Community Centre.
