Balancers Volunteering: Clothing Distribution
About
A free evening of volunteering with Refugee Community Kitchen, buying and distributing essential clothing to people in need in central London.
Balancers hosts a community volunteering evening in partnership with Refugee Community Kitchen, whose Goodge Street service supports people experiencing homelessness. Participants meet in front of the Dominion Theatre, hear a briefing on the plan, then split into small groups to buy essential clothing at the nearby Primark. After a short walk to Goodge Street, volunteers help distribute the clothing while the Refugee Community Kitchen team serves food. No previous volunteering experience is needed and optional cash contributions towards clothing are welcome but not required.
