Double Bill: The Attic and A Greek Comedy by Thersites
About
The Richmond Shakespeare Society's new directors' double bill pairs Robert Scott's ghost story The Attic with a rehearsed reading of A Greek Comedy by Thersites.
This double bill from the Richmond Shakespeare Society opens with The Attic: A Ghost Story by Robert Scott, directed by Kay Paine, in which a young woman named Demi finds a mysterious letter in her attic confessing to a murder, with its final page missing. The play explores marriage, death and how we view the past, questioning how we stay grounded in truth when two realities bleed together. It is paired with A Greek Comedy by Thersites, staged as a rehearsed reading. Performances run about two hours each evening.
