About
Next Door But One presents a relaxed, family-friendly storytelling show based on Philip Pullman's The Firework-Maker's Daughter, with puppetry and Makaton.
Next Door But One performs an intimate adaptation of Philip Pullman's award-winning novel, following Lila's journey to the Firework Festival across lakes and mountains as she learns to become the person she dreams of being. The 40-minute show features talking elephants, silly kings, puppetry, Makaton and audience participation, and is presented as a relaxed performance for children aged 4+ and their families. An optional craft workshop follows the performance.
