The Trip: Director’s Cut

Roger Corman’s 1967 drama follows a television commercials director, played by Peter Fonda, through his first LSD experience. BFI presents the director’s cut on 35mm.

Written by Jack Nicholson, the film follows Fonda’s character through the Sunset Strip after his marriage breaks down. The BFI describes this as a rare screening of the print Corman intended audiences to see, with Susan Strasberg, Bruce Dern and Dennis Hopper also billed.
