Children practise chess with coaching and games at The Hut in Chelsea, in groups arranged by ability. Participants should already understand piece moves and the basic rules.
Sunday sessions run from 11:30 to 12:30 and combine coaching with practical play in a supportive setting. The autumn programme is aimed at children aged 5–10 who know the basic rules. One-off sessions cost £30; the term package is £250 for ten sessions, equivalent to £25 per session. Individual taster sessions can be arranged, and bookings close 48 hours before each session.
