Teacher’s Day at CMSM

A free heritage showcase day where five Maldon heritage organisations present their school visit offers, learning resources and curriculum links to local educators.

Five Maldon heritage organisations — the Combined Military Services Museum, Maeldune Heritage Centre, Museum of Power, Moot Hall and Maldon & Heybridge Heritage Harbour — come together to showcase their educational offer to teachers, PTAs, school governors and education leaders. Each organisation has its own display covering activities and resources, suitable age groups and key stages, National Curriculum links, visit costs and practical information, including remote and postal resources. The event runs from 11am to 4pm with free entry and free parking, and schools are encouraged to register interest in advance.
