About
A documentary tracing two decades of struggle in Bristol's Stokes Croft, where locals fight to protect their community from developers and corporate power.
Filmed over six years by director Quincy Andrews, this documentary draws on twenty years of personal archives to tell the story of Stokes Croft in Bristol, where Banksy painted one of his earliest works, 'The Mild, Mild West', in 1999. It portrays a diverse neighbourhood standing up to globalisation and the threat of developers' wrecking balls, as residents battle to keep control of their destiny in an increasingly monocultural world.
