Artangel and Nitin Sawhney presents L'esprit d'accord

Nitin Sawhney premieres a new work at Hackney's Round Chapel, performing with guest musicians and a string sextet alongside improvised spoken word and pieces from his catalogue.

Marking the launch of Earth Rising: Messages from the Pale Blue Dot Volume II, Nitin Sawhney presents a new work staged in Hackney's Round Chapel. He is accompanied by Aref Durvesh on tabla and dholak, Eos Counsell on violin, Shapla Salique and YVA on vocals, Ashwin Srinivasan on bansuri flute and vocals, plus a string sextet. The evening features the title piece followed by improvised spoken word and further performances from Sawhney's extensive catalogue. The venue is 14+ with under-18s accompanied by an adult, and seating is first-come, first-served.
