Electronic Music Open Mic

Preston's Electronic Music Open Mic returns to The Ferret, offering 20-minute slots for electronic and experimental musicians to play live in a supportive setting.

EMOM Preston is an open stage night for electronic and experimental musicians of all levels, from bedroom producers to established artists. Performers get up to 20 minutes each on stage with a full live-music PA and sound engineer, using gear such as synths, drum machines, modular rigs, DJ controllers and samplers. The night welcomes all styles including ambient, techno, drone, glitch, house and noise, with walk-in slots available on a first-come-first-served basis alongside pre-booked ones. The event runs roughly 7pm to 11pm and is free for both performers and spectators.
