The Royal Ballet: Alice's Adventures in Wonderland

A cinema screening of The Royal Ballet's Alice's Adventures in Wonderland, Christopher Wheeldon's ballet with Joby Talbot's score, at the Torch Theatre.

Christopher Wheeldon's full-length ballet Alice's Adventures in Wonderland, created for The Royal Ballet in 2011, is screened at the Torch Theatre. Joby Talbot's score blends contemporary soundworlds with 19th-century-style melodies, while Bob Crowley's designs use puppetry and projections to bring Wonderland to life. The story follows Alice down the rabbit hole and her encounters with Wonderland's strange creatures, including the tarts-stealing Knave of Hearts.
