A Very Dickensian Murder
About
Dinner-theatre murder mystery: at the widow Snazbatten’s 1893 Christmas party in Belcher Towers, her guests include Prudence and a young Charles Dickens, while the resident miser Cyrus Belcher threatens to spoil the evening.
Candlelight Theatre Company presents an interactive murder mystery set at the 1893 Christmas party of the Widow Snazbatten. The guests include her friend Prudence and a young Charles Dickens; the evening turns on whether the resident miser Cyrus Belcher can disrupt the party. The 2½-hour ticket includes a two-course dinner, with chicken parmigiana or a vegetarian leek-and-white-bean casserole, followed by chocolate brownie or winter-berry crumble. A cheese-and-biscuits supplement is available through the box office. The linked booking page labels the performance for ages 18+, while the Beehive event card says 12+.
