About
This cabaret-style performance is an intimate portrait exploring the life and musical legacy of German-born composer Kurt Weill.
“Weill Woman” examines the life of Kurt Weill, who fled Nazi Germany and became a significant American musical theatre creator. The show explores some of his lesser-known works, focusing particularly on how he wrote for women. It is presented as a devised performance featuring live piano accompaniment in a cabaret style.
