Rebel Book Club Edinburgh's October meeting takes the theme Extreme Dreams, centred on Eva Zu Beck's memoir The Wilder Way, about leaving a conventional career for solo travel through remote places. The evening features talks from three guest speakers: endurance athlete Mark Beaumont, Munro record-holder Jamie Aarons and ultra-distance cyclist Cat Magill, hosted by Bryn Sherwood, Charlie Harrison and Oscar Tollast. The two-hour in-person session includes a welcome drink, storytelling and space for group discussion.
