Authors Lisa Schneidau and Rebecca Beattie discuss folklore, nature and seasonal traditions at The Bookery in Crediton.

An evening of conversation at The Bookery exploring folklore, nature and our relationship with the landscape. Dartmoor authors Lisa Schneidau and Rebecca Beattie discuss their new books — Tree Folk, which follows folk tales, songs and myths associated with the trees of Britain and Ireland through the wheel of the year, and The Season of Frost and Fire, which explores winter's hidden magic through thirteen seasonal rituals. Their conversation ranges from ancient woodland tales and seasonal customs to winter rituals, folklore and forgotten goddesses. The event runs from 7pm to 8:30pm.
