GACUK: 40 Years of Academic Excellence

The Greek Archaeological Committee UK marks its 40th anniversary with a programme of recollections and reflections on its scholarships and Hellenic archaeology.

The anniversary evening celebrates GACUK’s four decades supporting postgraduate Hellenic archaeology in the UK and the more than 80 graduate archaeologists who have received its scholarships. Speakers include Stamatia Comninos, Irene S. Lemos, Judith Herrin, Catherine Morgan, Cyprian Broodbank, Lucy Blue and Maria Iacovou. UK-based alumni and current scholars will also discuss their research and academic journeys; their names are not individually published in the captured programme.
