Round Table: Recognising Creative Skills

A free round table discussion for creative training providers on recognising and validating the skills residents gain through creative activities outside formal education.

This Round Table, part of the Southwark Creative Skills Network, brings together providers of creative training activities for Southwark residents outside formal learning settings to focus on self-efficacy. Discussion will cover how self-efficacy is fostered, what skills participants gain from creative projects, and how they define those skills themselves. The session will also explore implementing a 'passport' framework to validate these skills and how it could be piloted in Southwark, so that skills learned outside school and college are recognised by young people and the labour market alike.
