Book a Friday-afternoon appointment at Dorset History Centre for help with your family history from a trained genealogist. Each published session lasts one hour; a £5 minimum donation supports Dorset Archives Trust.
The Family History Surgery offers one-hour sessions on site at Dorset History Centre, where a trained genealogist can help with family-history research. Published appointments are available at 13:00, 14:00 and 15:00 on 23 and 30 October, 20 and 27 November, and 4, 11 and 18 December 2026. A £5 minimum donation supports Dorset Archives Trust; reserve by phone or email through the Centre.
