About
A six-session evening course with historian Dr Matthew Green explores London’s social and cultural development through illustrated talks and discussion.
Each two-hour session includes a20-minute wine break and examines a different period: Roman and medieval London, Shakespeare’s city, the Restoration, early Georgian London, late Victorian London and the twentieth and twenty-first centuries. The course welcomes beginners and experienced London-history enthusiasts in the church’s lecture theatre.
