A Garden | Deborah Frank

A free solo exhibition of Deborah Frank's oil paintings of Southwark Cathedral's herb garden, on display in the Cathedral Café.

Deborah Frank's solo exhibition 'A Garden: Deborah Frank 2026' presents oil paintings studying the botanicals of Southwark Cathedral's churchyard herb garden, which contains around 50 varieties of herbs with Biblical and Shakespearean connections. Painted both from photography and en plein air, each herb is framed with the surrounding architecture and foliage near London Bridge and Borough Market. The work continues the artist's aim of documenting and looking closer at the natural world.
