About
A free exhibition of Rebecca Morledge's elevated-view paintings of town and city streets, part of The Big Draw Festival.
This Big Draw Festival showcase presents Rebecca Morledge's paintings of town and city streets seen from an elevated viewpoint, turning rooftops, hidden architectural details and upper windows into quietly theatrical compositions. Morledge, an illustrator influenced by children's book artists such as Shirley Hughes, brings a narrative quality to scenes that suggest lives unfolding beyond the frame. The exhibition runs Wednesdays to Sundays, 10am to 4pm, and is open to all ages.
