About
Danny Beard performs in a live show about performance and reinvention, featuring the story of music-hall character Lily Savage.
Danny Beard stars as Lily Savage in Jonathan Harvey’s new play, which is about Paul O’Grady’s early life and the emergence of his drag alter ego. Directed by Nikolai Foster, the production combines comedy and tenderness in a portrait of the person, performer and world that shaped Lily. The production premieres in 2027 before its UK tour.
