Coffee, Cake and Cadenzas

Free monthly lunchtime chamber concerts in the Piano Bar by students from Birmingham's Conservatoire of Music.

Coffee, Cake and Cadenzas is a series of one-hour chamber concerts held in The Alexandra's Piano Bar at 1pm on the first Friday of the month. Strings, woodwind and brass ensembles of students from Birmingham's Conservatoire of Music present short programmes, free of charge, though a free ticket must be booked to guarantee entry. Doors open at 12:30pm, and the Piano Bar location means the event is not suitable for those who experience difficulty with stairs.
