Blashford Lakes: Willow wreath workshop
About
Make a willow wreath from prepared willow whips and seasonal natural decorations in a guided workshop at Blashford Lakes.
The workshop demonstrates how to weave prepared willow whips into a wreath, then decorate it with holly, ivy, fern, pinecones and other materials. It includes a walk into the reserve to gather extra natural supplies; tools, gloves, mince pies and a hot drink are provided. The group meets in the Education Centre classroom (or under shelter, with the Centre used in very cold or wet weather). Suitable for ages 14+ when accompanied by an adult; everyone attending needs a ticket. £25 per person; booking is essential.
