The Session Man

A documentary about session pianist Nicky Hopkins, followed by a Q&A with producer John Wood. The ticket also includes entry to the Eel Pie Island Museum.

The 90-minute documentary follows Nicky Hopkins, whose piano work featured on recordings by the Kinks, the Who, the Rolling Stones and the Beatles, among many others. The film’s story is told by musicians who worked with Hopkins and narrated by Bob Harris. A Q&A with one of the film’s producers, John Wood, follows the screening. The venue says all donations and profits from the evening will go to the Eel Pie Island Museum.
