These Violent Delights + Q&A

A screening of Scottish Ballet's first feature-length dance film These Violent Delights, a wordless re-telling of Romeo and Juliet, followed by a pre-recorded Q&A.

Scottish Ballet's These Violent Delights is the company's first major feature-length film, directed by Christopher Hampson and Oscar Sansom. Juliet awakens from a fever dream as hallucination and memory blur, in a wordless, contemporary re-telling of Romeo and Juliet where fate is rewritten on the dancefloor. The 115-minute film, certificate 15, combines cinema and dance in a journey of belonging, defiance and self-discovery. Each screening includes a pre-recorded Q&A.
