Nearly two decades after the Climate Change Act, Emma Pinchbeck, Chief Executive of the Climate Change Committee, reflects in conversation with Professor Jan Rosenow on her career from WWF-UK and the renewables industry to statutory climate advisor. The discussion covers the obstacles still standing between the UK and net zero, pushing back against polarisation, and leading large organisations as a young woman in a male-dominated sector. She will also share advice for young people considering a career in climate and energy. The in-person session is followed by a drinks reception from 5pm.
