About
A morning of short talks by Newmarket Chalk Streams about the history, wildlife and future of the local chalk stream, Newmarket Brook.
Newmarket Chalk Streams hosts a series of short talks sharing their work and knowledge of Newmarket Brook, the winterborne chalk stream that led to the town being built. The morning covers the history of Newmarket town and wildlife data, with a tea and coffee break mid-session. The organisers hope attendees will support efforts to improve the stream's condition for wildlife and the community. Entry requires a booked ticket.
