About

This 30th-anniversary production of Matthew Bourne’s dance theatre retells Cinderella as a wartime romance set in London during the Second World War. The staging features designs by Lez Brotherston, lighting by Neil Austin, video by Duncan McLean, and sound by Paul Groothuis, depicting bombing raids and explosions with smoke/haze, strobe lighting, and loud sound. Key roles include Cinderella (Hannah Kremer and Katrina Lyndon), Harry (Reece Causton and Rory Macleod), and Sybil (Michela Meazza, Daisy West, and Nicole Kabera).
