Melton Mowbray Christmas

A three-day Christmas market in Melton Mowbray's Market Place with festive stalls, seasonal shopping and a Christmas lights switch-on evening.

Melton Mowbray Christmas transforms the town's Market Place into a festive destination from 27 to 29 November 2026, with street stalls selling goods from local independent makers, Christmas decorations, artisan food and drink and gifts. The market opens with extended hours on the Friday evening, when the Christmas lights are switched on at 6.40pm following live music from Rock Choir and an appearance from Santa, with special guests entertaining the crowd until 8pm. The market continues through the weekend with daytime opening hours on Saturday and Sunday.
