Etching with Copper

Rob White leads a four-week course on preparing and etching copper plates with hard ground, soft ground and aquatint.

The course introduces copper plate preparation and printing, compares copper with zinc, and covers hard ground, soft ground, ferric chloride, aquatint and plate inking. Rob White leads four Wednesday sessions on 3, 10, 17 and 24 February 2027, 18:00–21:00, at HAUSPRINT. A separately linked hard-ground product occupies the same dates but describes a different curriculum and conflicting costs; it is retained as a same-slot unresolved product, not asserted as a distinct event.
