Tasara Quartet by Gary Power MRSS

Gary Power’s outdoor sculptures combine Indian cooking pots, temple-inspired forms and vivid colour on Dora House’s sculpture terrace.

Made during a residency in Kerala, Tasara Quartet honours Indian culinary skill and the care traditionally devoted to cooking by women. The mixed-media sculptures use cooking pots and other objects to connect domestic practice with temple architecture and the symbolic energy of colour.
