Good Morning, Britain: TV-am Revisited
About
A one-off BFI event revisiting the 1980s breakfast TV era of TV-am, with former presenters and contributors on stage hosted by Sanjeev Bhaskar.
Celebrating the launch of The BFI Collections Fund, this one-off event brings together presenters and contributors from TV-am to look back at the origins of breakfast television in the 1980s. Hosted by BFI Ambassador Sanjeev Bhaskar, the sofa of special guests includes Lorraine Kelly, Nick Owen, Lizzie Webb, Gyles Brandreth, Lisa Aziz, Anne Diamond and Timmy Mallett. The evening revisits the era's shoulder pads, breaking news, children's programming and aerobics, with £5 from each ticket supporting the BFI National Archive's digitisation of the TV-am collection.
