About
A free 45-minute guided tour at the Museum of Zoology exploring gender, sex and same-sex behaviour in the animal world.
Volunteer guides lead a 45-minute walk through the Museum of Zoology sharing stories about gender and sex in the animal kingdom, from same-sex sexual behaviour in giraffes and penguins to the scientists working in zoology. The tour asks how the labels and categories we give animals shape the way we interact with the natural world. Guides meet visitors in the Whale Entrance Hall 5–10 minutes before the start. Aimed at adults, but children and teenagers are welcome with adults.
