Foraging Walk
About
A guided 90-minute foraging walk discovering edible plants around Eltham Common, meeting at 10.30am.
This foraging workshop is a gentle walk of roughly an hour and a half through the local area, discovering edible plants along the way. Participants meet at 10.30am on the corner of Eltham Common opposite bus stop SD on Red Lion Lane, next to the old cottage hospital on Shooter's Hill. The walk goes ahead even in rain, so suitable outdoor clothing is advised, and a map of the route is sent in advance. The session is funded by Greenwich Council, so attendees complete a short enrolment form and bring a pen and proof of ID such as a passport or driver's licence.
