About
A free lunchtime performance of original music for piano, saxophone and guitar inspired by the 1922 silent film Häxan, at Aberdeen Art Gallery's Cowdray Hall.
Matthew Kilner (saxophone), Graeme Stephen (guitar) and Neil Birse (piano) perform excerpts from their newly commissioned score for the 1922 silent film Häxan, blending composition and improvisation. The 45-minute lunchtime set draws on themes of mystery, folklore and the supernatural, with original music commissioned by NEAT and Haddo Arts for the Festival of Darkness screening of the film.
