Young Company Presents David Copperfield

Reading Rep's Young Company performs Ian Mullins' adaptation of Dickens' David Copperfield in a one-night production using the set from A Christmas Carol.

Reading Rep's Young Company stages Ian Mullins' adaptation of Charles Dickens' David Copperfield, inspired by the theatre's immersive Christmas production of A Christmas Carol. The young performers use the set and surroundings created for A Christmas Carol to tell the story of David Copperfield's journey through friendships, hardship, humour and self-discovery. The production is an amateur presentation arranged with Music Theatre International and celebrates the ensemble spirit of the theatre's youth company. There is a single performance on Monday 14 December 2026 at 7.30pm, which is sold out to the general public.
