Torbay Literary Festival Presents: Lady Anne Glenconner – ‘Trunks and Tiaras’

Lady Anne Glenconner discusses her final book Trunks and Tiaras, taking questions and signing copies after the talk.

Lady Anne Glenconner, former Lady in Waiting to Princess Margaret and a trainbearer at Queen Elizabeth II's coronation, discusses her latest and, she says, final book Trunks and Tiaras. Having saved some of her most revealing stories for this book, she presents it as a celebrated storyteller offering an insider's view of a disappearing world. The event includes a 20-minute interval, a question-and-answer session and a book signing at the end. A free silent reading session in the Stage Left Area runs from 13:15 to 14:15 before the main event.
