Bitesize Book Club

A five-week Wednesday-morning reading course with writer Andy Jackson, reading a short story and poem together each week with no pre-reading required.

Lifelong Learning Dundee runs this five-week 'book club with no homework' course in Room 1.10 of the Scrymgeour Building at the University of Dundee, meeting on Wednesday mornings from 11 November to 9 December 2026. Each week participants read a short story and a poem together and share informal, non-academic thoughts on them, with the emphasis on reading for pleasure. The tutor is Andy Jackson, a poet with four collections, editor of Poetry Scotland and a Royal Literary Fund Fellow. Booking closes on Friday 6 November 2026 at 12 noon, with no late bookings accepted.
