Violin Masterclass with Augustin Dumay

Violinist Augustin Dumay leads a public masterclass with Royal College of Music students in the Performance Hall.

Violinist Augustin Dumay works with RCM musicians in this masterclass, drawing on his international career as both soloist and conductor. His breakthrough came in 1980 when Herbert von Karajan invited him to perform with the Berlin Philharmonic, and he has since appeared with orchestras including the London Symphony Orchestra, Los Angeles Philharmonic and Royal Concertgebouw Orchestra. The session offers audiences the chance to watch him share his musicianship and artistry with the next generation of violinists.
