About
Professor Miriam Goldby examines whether relational contracts need statutory reform, drawing on how legislation has addressed earlier limits in the courts’ development of contract law.
Part of UCL Laws’ Current Legal Problems Lecture Series 2026–27, this lecture considers why Parliament has intervened in fields where incremental court-led change proved insufficient and asks whether relational contract law presents a similar case. Attend in person at Bentham House or join the livestream; advance booking is required.
