The Shimmy Shake Up

A 90s one-hit-wonder burlesque fundraiser where a mystery wheel and audience donations decide which songs London performers must dance to.

This burlesque fundraiser takes its soundtrack from the 90s one-hit wonders, with a twist: performers don't pick their own songs. A mystery wheel is spun and whatever track it lands on is what the artist must dance to, while audience members can donate money to force a song of their choice onto the wheel. All song donations go directly to Sadie Sinner, a London cabaret fixture recovering from surgery and unable to work her usual gigs. Doors open at 7pm with the show at 8pm, hosted by Queen Yupele and featuring a lineup of London burlesque performers plus Jessabelle Thunder, 2025 Queen of Burlesque.
