Repair Cafe

A free community repair cafe where volunteer repairers help mend clothes, furniture, electricals, bikes and more while visitors pick up basic repair skills.

The Repair Cafe is a free meeting place where people can bring items to be altered or mended, from clothes and furniture to electrical gadgets, bikes, toys and crockery. Volunteer repairers demonstrate basic day-to-day skills such as sewing on a button, fixing a zip or wiring a plug, helping extend the life of everyday belongings. Visitors can learn by chatting and watching the repairs while enjoying a cuppa and cake.
