About
The Clark Tracey Quintet performs a jazz set at Wakefield Jazz featuring music by Roy Haynes, Bobby Watson, Chick Corea and Stan Tracey.
Led by drummer and bandleader Clark Tracey, the quintet brings together five leading British jazz musicians, including pianist Dave Newton and bassist Andy Cleyndert, plus a brass duo. The repertoire draws on the jazz heritage with numbers by Roy Haynes, Bobby Watson, Chick Corea and Stan Tracey alongside Tracey's own compositions. The evening runs from 8pm to 10.30pm at Wakefield Jazz's home at the College Grove Sports Club.
