Tegg’s Nose Stargazing Evenings

Join Macclesfield Astronomical Society for talks about the night sky and, weather permitting, guided telescope observing.

These evenings include astronomy talks for a range of interests, photographs of celestial objects and time for questions. If the weather is clear, the Society guides visitors in observing the sky through telescopes; guests may bring binoculars or telescopes. Meet at Tegg’s Nose Country Park Visitor Centre. Advance booking and payment are required. The published ticket price is £5 per person. The two published dates are 14 November and 12 December 2026, 19:30–22:30; doors open at 19:00. The event is associated with East Cheshire Rangers. Dress for dark outdoor conditions and low night temperatures.
