About
Keynsham Elim Church's Christmas Shoebox Appeal collects wrapped shoeboxes of gifts for Romanian charity CASA Grace, with a final collection service on 15 November at 10am.
The appeal asks people to wrap an empty shoebox inside and out and fill it with gifts such as toiletries, hats, scarves and gloves, toys, stationery and sweet treats, labelled with an age and gender for a child aged 0–18 (boxes for parents are also accepted). Boxes can be brought to the church's main building during a service or when it is open, so they can be checked and delivered in time for Romanian traditional gift giving day on 5 December.
