About
Mathew Jones performs a one-man A Christmas Carol from Dickens' own reading script at the University Arms over two December evenings.
University Arms presents A Christmas Carol performed as a one-man show by Mathew Jones, drawn directly from Charles Dickens' own reading script with no adaptation or modern retelling. Using voice alone, Jones conjures Scrooge's counting house, Fezziwig's ball, the Cratchit family hearth and the visits of the spirits. The intimate evening of theatre runs over two dates in December 2026.
