Scottish Portrait Awards Exhibition
About
An exhibition of around 180 selected contemporary Scottish portraits in fine art, photography and phone photography at the National Galleries of Scotland: Portrait.
The Scottish Portrait Awards exhibition, organised by the Scottish Arts Trust, returns with works selected from three competitions: the John Clark Motor Group Scottish Portrait Award in Fine Art, the MPB Scottish Portrait Award in Photography and the Scotland Now! Phone Portrait Award. Around 120 works from the Fine Art and Photography entries and 60 from the Phone entries will be displayed, chosen by judges including Kirsty Wark, Albert Watson OBE and Calum Stevenson. Prizes total £17,500, with two winners also receiving a portrait commission that will join Scotland's national collection. The exhibition is open daily from 10am to 5pm.
