About

An opening afternoon at Peckham Platform’s new Unit AG1, with local art, creative activities, a panel conversation, music and community stalls.

Peckham Platform opens its new space in the Bussey Building with a free 13:00–17:00 community programme. The afternoon includes artwork in the Passageway, pop-up stalls and courtyard music, creative experiences in the new space, the Mobile Archive, a family-friendly workshop with Playte, footage of Peckham from London Screen Archives, and an exhibition by The Palace of the Dogs’ resident artists. The programme includes Who I Am Now, a free panel from 15:00–16:00 chaired by Elsa Farmer, with Bamidele Awoyemi, Danny Bailey, Myah Asha Jeffers, Niyanta Sharma and Valeria Salinas Toro. The panel has limited places and a separate free reservation is required through Eventbrite. Music from Orii is scheduled from 16:00–17:00. The official listing presents the panel as part of the opening event; no separate official calendar entry for the panel is shown.
